Special days come and go
Like rose petals in the wind
Beautiful and full of life
Then gone with one twist of faith
Memories of the roses stay within our hearts
But the rose itself fades and crumbles apart
You think about the days you spent looking at the rose
Wondering at the beauty to which you can behold
And now you wonder why you never told it to the rose
The wonderment and glow how it kept you at such an awe
But now as the time has passed and the petals flown away
You feel a type of comfort to keep you strong through the day
The rose hasn’t left you and yet it never will
For every time we smile
The rose blooms across our face
So pe
I am the age of the stars
They are the age of beauty
I look to the stars for guidance
They look to the mirror for happiness
I sing to the stars to help them shine
They sing to people of the world for their affection
The stars give me my dreams
Their beauty gives them their demise
The beauty of the stars are all I need to make the night brighter
The women and their beauty will fade within time
But the beauty of the true stars will live on forever
Their time is for now
But soon my time will come
Then they will see the value of the true beauty of nature
The people will be overwhelmed by the real beauty
Not the beauty they were alw
I am the age of the stars

An early spring morn
Fresh dew on the ground
The soft grass under my bare feet
The sweet smell of honeysuckle
In the humid southern air
Graceful country fields
As far as the eye can see
The warm sun beams along my back
I feel like I'm finally home
Then the alarm clock on the table starts to buzz
I'm up and out the door
The city noises in my ears
No more of the peaceful sounds of nature
Just the loud obnoxious people in a rush to be the best
The books, the pens, the papers
I've got it all as I run to the office
To see what I have for a job today
I sit down and get started
As my life starts another day my childhood is left
Why do tears fall down my face when you leave,
Like my heart feels as if it can never be relieved.
Why do I feel so sad when your not around,
Like I should be buried deep underground.
Why does pain hurt so very much,
Like when I can't feel your touch.
Why is it so hard to see you go,
Like something I will never know.
Why do I ask all of these questions,
Like I don't even know the answer.
Why do I need to ask,
When the answer, I always know.
I ask because I want to be sure,
Be sure that you love me true.
Or as true as I do.
There's a secret in everyone,
Tucked away deep inside.
It is a delicate secret,
That no heart can hide.
Only the beholder of the secret,
Knows its power.
The power can be great,
It can also be very small.
No one else may know this power,
The secret can never be told.
For if the secret is told,
It disappears without a trace.
The secret disappears because,
When it is told the world knows.
If the world were to know,
Then it is not a secret place.
The place inside of all of us,
Is great but small.
For only we have the key,
To open the door to our dreams.
You push me
You hit me
You don't understand
Do you live my life
Do you deal with this everyday
Do you really want to know what its like
NO!
I know you don't
Your so "powerful"
So "strong"
So "independent"
You don't know what power is
Until its taken from you
You don't know how to be strong
Until its the only choice you have
You don't know what independent stands for
Do you live on your own
Do you fend for yourself
Do you cry yourself to sleep every night
Wondering if your mom will be there in the morning
Praying like crazy you won't find her gone
Forever, no longer able to live
You don't know me
You don't know my life

I loved,
I mourn you, my love,
Though your body still walks, you are dead,
Something still inhabits your corpse,
Making mockery of that girl I loved so well,
A plastic replica of my autumn flower,
Every last thing that you were,
Your warm heart, your gentle gaze,
They are ripped down, torn asunder,
And I hate,
I hate that thing that now walks in your shell,
That claims to be you, defiles your name with its words,
I hate those that claimed your friendship yet slew you,
Weaving their chaos through you until you shattered,
I hate their creeping, lurking poison,
That seeped into your core until you drowned,
I hate myself, who dared to love you,

"Doctor Matthews?"
The voice came out of nowhere, for all he was concerned.
His eyes darted up quickly, his head spinning around as his neck couldn't help but wince. He was soon met with the suspicious eyes of the nurse on the ward.
She merely raised an eyebrow at his reaction, her gaze calculating as her fingers were wrapped tightly around the clipboard she had plastered to her chest. She licked her lips, coating them in warm saliva as the strands of her hair slipped harmlessly out of their nook behind her ear.
"Yes, Charlene?" His voice was slightly hoarse, his heart ramming into his chest wall as the adrenaline

Don't Change Me
Have you ever cried?
While viewing a piece
Of art?
Have you ever had
A few tears rolling down
Your cheeks because
You were writing about
How strongly
You felt about something?
Have you ever looked
At something,
And thought one thing
Then completely and utterly
Changed your opinion
A minute later?
Have you ever realized
That lines are more
Than just lines?
Especially on people?
Have you ever
Stared at one line,
Once ready to
Open your mouth
And explain
How that should be
Different,
When in the next
Moment entirely
You find yourself crying
Because you feel
So strongly
About the fact that
That line should
Yes No
A or B
Up or down
Keep going of give up
You may be on the top of the world
And fall into an abyss.
Nothing's gonna last forever,
And everything can end in a second.
And you have always known it right?
So, just look at me eyes
And tell me you don't regret it
Tell me you enjoy every second
And you would love them for life.
That's all I need to hear
So I can be in peace.
Because I know you're strong enough
To face this thing.
Tomorrow will be a new day
And everything would be
Kept in that old past.
Because the world moves so fast
That when you notice,
All this
Would have pass a long time ago
And you must rem

My page probably makes me sound like a really depressing person, but be reassured I am not like that all of the time. I actually really love my life, yeah I've been through things people shouldn't have to deal with but that doesn't mean I'm some spoiled brat. I just express a lot of things that people go through by writing about it, but I really do love my life just the way it is. I just though I'd make that clear.
